When we ask people where and when they tend to buy art , common answers are "when I'm traveling" or " when we're on vacation".  A piece of art is a special souvenir and can conjure up all sorts of memories and associations every time you look at it.   But you can make a lasting memory other ways as well. For instance, we love giving art as a gift to mark a special occasion.  There is so much meaning in a visual message and the thought behind why you chose it for someone.
