Our dream is for the Boston art market to flourish and grow, supported by a diverse community of collectors. This would not be new to the area, as Boston has historically always played a significant role in American Art. We are convinced that there is movement, energy and growth that could lead to another exciting time for the area's artists and collectors. That said, there is no denying the proximity and pull of New York for the area's most ambitious artists. Just this week we heard from several who have their sites on making their mark in the Big Apple. For local collectors, we see the proximity of such a big art center as a win win situation. By supporting local talent, you are making an investment in the area's art community, which potentially could be meaningful to the value of your collection should the artists you buy hit it big.
