Weekly file: looking for art in all the right places

Following on last week's post, we're always up for a road trip if it leads to finding good talent.  Thanks to several of the area's universities, there are some interesting artists working in places we usually wouldn't think of as major cultural centers. But because of these bucolic hubs of intellectual pursuit and scientific invention we are lucky to have pockets of talented artists affiliated with universities who are creating impressive work. It doesn't hurt to have a well stocked museum or two close by either.
