We're often asked, what makes an artwork great? Aspiring collectors can be uncertain about taking the step to buying a piece that not only costs a significant amount of money, but which will also take up valuable real estate in their homes for many years. That lack of confidence and fear of making a mistake can lead to a lot of empty walls.

Our job is to look at contemporary art. We see lots of it every week. Over time, with experience and commitment, you start to develop an eye for what is excellent quality art and worth adding to a collection. We’ve held quite a few hands as they’ve made their first big purchase. And it is so much fun to help a new collector take those first exciting steps.
