Street art meets fine art is has been around for a while, going back to Keith Haring and Basquiat in the eighties, right on up to Shepard Fairey and Banksy, and beyond.  Urban and street culture provide a diverse and rich source of inspiration for artists, and there can be an immediacy to the work produced that is really appealing .  Lucky for us, Boston has a long established tradition of street and graffiti artists.   While this locally trained artist does large scale murals on outdoor and indoor walls, he also creates works on boards and other found materials that are on a scale the average home can accommodate more readily. He's getting noticed, so might be time to make a move and get in on the ground floor.
